FINAL SUBMISSIONS MADE AS CITY BYPASS HEARING WINDS DOWN

Final submissions are being made at the oral hearing into a proposed outer city bypass for Galway.

An Bord Pleanala hopes to finish the hearing this evening, after hearing 21 days of evidence from Galway county council and observors.

Landowners, residents, business community representatives and environmentalists have been reading their observations and objections into the record at the Ardilaun Hotel on Taylor’s Hill.
