FILE FOR DPP OVER CITY STABBING

A file has been sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions in relation to a stabbing in the city last Saturday night. [16/4]

A man was injured in the incident at Castlelawn Heights at around 10.30p.m on Saturday.

The injured man was taken to University Hospital Galway but his injuries were not life-threatening.

Three men were arrested at the scene and questioned by Gardaí.

They were later released without charge and a file has been sent to the DPP.
