FILE FOR DPP ON CITY SEXUAL ASSAULT

A file is to be sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions in relation to a sexual assault in the city over the weekend.

A woman was sexually assaulted on a wasteground site behind Ceannt Station between 8 and 9 o’clock on Friday night.

On Saturday morning a man from the city was arrested in connection with the attack but was laterr released without charge.
