File for DPP following Connemara car chase

A file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions following a high- speed chase in Connemara last evening.

A Garda car was rammed in the chase which began in the Clifden area and ended in Cill Chiaráin.

A man was arrested in relation to the incident.

He has since been released without charge and a file for the DPP is now being prepared.
