FILE FOR DPP FOLLOWING ALLEGED CITY ASSAULT

A 21 year old man has been released without charge following an alleged assault on a woman in Forster Street in the city overnight.

Gardaí arrested the man under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act for questioning at Mill Street garda station.

He has now been released without charge and a file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
