Fianna Fáil leader unveils Galway East’s Colm Keaveney as newest TD

Fianna Fáil has just unveiled Galway East TD and former Labour chairman Colm Keaveney as its latest TD.

A meeting of Fianna Fáil’s parliamentary party earlier this afternoon approved his bid to join the party.

Deputy Keaveney lost the Labour whip after voting against the Government over cuts to respite care grants last June.
