Female entrepreneurs urged to avail of funding!
BPW Ireland has commended Enterprise Ireland on the launch of the new fund to the value of €250,000 available to stimulate female entrepreneurs business start-ups in Ireland.
BPW National President Carmen Taheny is urging female entrepreneurs all over Ireland to consider putting forward applications for the recent competitive feasibility fund which is available from the 20th August to 10th September.
The funding is open to female led start-ups within certain sector including manufacturing and Internationally Traded Services including Food, Life science, Consumer Products, Medical Devices, E-Health, Internet, Games, Apps, Cloud Computing and Enterprise Software.
BPW Ireland President Carmen Taheny stated ‘In this current challenging environment all such funding is welcomed as it gives those entrepreneurs the encouragement and support needed to come forward with their ideas and help move those ideas along to viable businesses’.
Previous Enterprise Ireland female entrepreneur funds over the past twelve months resulted in over 200 applicants leading to 30 new female-led businesses receiving the greatly needed funding to investigate the viability of their business which in time could lead to success in global markets in the future, thus leading to the creation of new employment in Ireland in the years to come.
