Fancy your own Dragon’s Den off the Galway coast?

Dragon’s Den investor and technology entrepreneur Barry O’Sullivan has said “I’m out” of his luxury six-bed holiday home overlooking a beach on Inis Mór.

The 4,250 square foot ‘Beach House’ – which boasts it’s a home cinema and games room – overlooks Kilmurvey Beach and has been put up for sale with a price tag of €450,000.

The property was purchased several years ago by Barry O’Sullivan – star of the RTE TV show Dragon’s Den – and underwent a complete refurbishment programme.

While he once divided his time between Galway and Silicon Valley in California, he now spends most of his time in the US.

The property boasts stunning coastal views and overlooks Kilmurvey Beach, which has been awarded Blue Flag status.

The property was originally a twelve-bed and an industrial kitchen, but it was redesigned by Mr O’Sullivan to include six bedrooms (five en suite); kitchen; inner lobbies and hallways; lounges, dinette and formal dining room.

Dún Aonghasa, one of the country’s most famous prehistoric forts, is a fifteen-minute walk away, while the ‘Worm Hole’ – the natural rectangular pool at the bottom of the cliffs, is also nearby.

Selling agent Paddy Flynn of Galway Real Estate said a huge amount of money went into redesigning the property.

“The owner is spending more time in the States now and after putting so much money into redesigning the house, it’s a shame that it isn’t used full-time,” said Mr Flynn.
