FAMILY WELCOME MANSLAUGHTER VERDICT IN PETER BROWNE TRIAL

The family of ClareGalway jockey Jamie Kyne say they are relieved a verdict has been given following a 19 day trial at Leeds crown court.
In a statement released to Galway Bay FM news, the family say they are pleased Peter Browne has been held accountable for the devastating effects of last September.
The British Labourer was found not guilty of murder but guilty of the manslaughter of Claregalway jockey Jamie Kyne and his Scottish flatmate at a UK court last evening.
The 18 year old from Kiltrogue died alongside 19 year old Jan Wilson after the block of flats where they lived in Norton, North Yorkshire was set alight by Peter Brown.
Senior Investigating officer, Detective Alan Carey says the trial has been traumatic for all involved
