EXTRA THEATRE STAFF ALLOCATED TO UHG

There’s been some good news for patients waiting for operations at UHG.

Health Minister James Reilly has confirmed an extra 12 theatre nursing staff will be allocated to the public hospital in the next two months, bringing the number up to 104.

The Minister has also undertaken to consider the employment of a further 12 student nurses to be trained as theatre nurses.
