EXPANSION PLANS FOR DOUGHISKA MIXED USE DEVELOPMENT

Local developers are planning to expand a mixed-use development on the eastern outskirts of Galway city.

Ignatius Foy and Leo Maher are seeking the go-ahead from city planners to enlarge 28 apartments already approved at Sraith Fhada, Doughiska Road.

The developers are hoping to combine nine shop units on the ground floor into one large unit and extend it.

They’re also planning to enlarge the 28 apartments already approved and add on one more apartment.
