EU COMMISSIONER USES GALWAY VISIT TO GIVE RECESSION ADVICE

Co-operation between consumers and businesses will be key to bringing the Galway economy out of the recession.

That’s according to EU Commissioner for Consumer Affairs Meglena Kuneva who’s meeting with Galway chamber of Commerce at Anthony Ryans Store this lunchtime.

Commissioner Kuneva also met Galway shoppers during a walkabout on Shop Street earlier this morning.

Speaking to Galway Bay FM News, the EU Consumer Affairs Commissioner said goodwill between shoppers and businesses will improve the economic situation here.
