EU COMMISSIONER TO LAUNCH MAJOR RESEARCH PROJECT AT NUIG

NUI Galway’s Ryan Institute for Environmental, Marine and Energy Research will be officially launched next Tuesday by EU Commissioner Máire Geoghegan-Quinn.

The Ryan Institute has over 300 researchers making it Ireland’s largest research institute.

The launch will coincide with a public symposium entitled ‘Green Shift, Blue Growth, Bright Future?’ featuring international experts.

The symposium will be opened by Minister for Communications, Energy and Natural Resources Pat Rabbitte.
