ESB TO MEET GALWAY COMPANIES IN BID TO SAVE JOBS

The Chief Executive Officer of the ESB will be in Galway tomorrow to meet with senior management at Boston Scientific and Celestica about reducing their energy bills.

Boston Scientific’s energy bill increased by 3 million euro since last October, while Celestica’s bill increased by half a million euro, according to Senator Fidelma Healy-Eames.

Senator Healy-Eames requested that Liam Molloy, CEO of the ESB meet with both companies to discuss ways to reduce their energy bills.
