EPA WARNING OVER CLIFDEN SEWERAGE WORKS

Clifden waste water treatment plant is continuing to pump waste water with just basic treatment into the Clifden Bay estuary.

It’s one of 20 locations named by the Environmental Protection Agency which were required to have secondary treatment or higher by December 31st 2005.
