Wexford-based experimental rock trio Adebisi Shank bring their energetic live show to the stage of the Róisín Dubh for an eagerly awaited performance this Saturday.

The instrumental dance-rock group have toured both Europe and Japan extensively and now bring their innovative show closer to home for a musical feast in the Galway venue. The event also features Waterford band O Emperor and acoustic-pop twins Heathers.

Adebisi Shank have enjoyed considerable success in recent times and this is reflected by the fact that their music is now on three different labels worldwide: Richter Collective, Big Scary Monsters and Parabolica Records.

Renowned for their energetic live performances, the band scooped the awards for Best Album, Best Rock Band and Best Design this year at the annual Digital Socket Awards, a music awards show organised by Irish music bloggers.

They were also nominated for a prestigious Choice Music Prize in the Best Album category and thrilled a sold-out crowd with their live performance at Vicar Street in March.

Alternative-rock quintet O Emperor also return to the Róisín this weekend following the success of their hit album Hither Thither last year, which climbed to number six in the Irish charts. Acoustic-pop duo Heathers are best known for their single Remember Me, which features on the Fáilte Ireland TV advertisements.

Adebisi Shank play at the Róisín Dubh this Saturday, June 4, along with O Emperor and Heathers. Doors open at 8pm and tickets cost €15.
