EMERGENCY SERVICES CONTROL KNOCKNACARRA HOUSE FIRE

A house fire in the Knocknacarra area has now been brought under control by the fire services.

Two units of Galway city brigade have been battling the blaze since 4 this morning at the Cashel Mara estate.

Fire crews left the scene in the last half an hour [8am].

There are no reported injuries and Gardai are not treating the incident as suspicious.
