Emergency services attend fire at Western Motors

Galway Bay fm newsroom – A technical examination is to be carried out this morning following a fire at Western Motors in Ballybrit last evening.
The blaze broke out at around 8.25 last evening at the dealership base in Briarhill Business Park.
Two units of the city fire brigade were drafted in, as well as one from Athenry station and another from Tuam.
They remained at the scene until midnight when the blaze was brought under control.
It’s understood the fire caused smoke damage and also damaged a few vehicles.
Gardai are not treating the fire as suspicious and are to carry out a technical examination of the scene later today.
