EMERGENCY SERVICES AT SCENE OF M6 CRASH

Emergency services are at the scene of a two-car crash on the M6 near Athenry.

It happened around an hour ago (5pm) on the overtaking lane of the Galway to Dublin motorway just before the Athenry junction.

An ambulance and two fire units were called to the scene but it’s not yet known if there are any injuries.
