ELDERLY PEDESTRIAN WHO DIED IN RENMORE NAMED LOCALLY

The 77 year old woman who died from injuries she sustained when she was hit by a bus in Renmore yesterday has been named locally.

She was Philomena Beatty from Glenina Heights, wife of Sean Beatty.

Mrs Beatty, who was a pedestrian, was hit by a bus on the Dublin Road near the Bon Secours Hospital at 20 to one yesterday afternoon.
