EFFORTS CONTINUE TO LOAD FERRIES AT GALWAY DOCKS

Efforts to load two ferries onto a cargo ship will resume at Galway Docks this morning.

The operation to transfer the ‘Clann Eagle’ and ‘Clann na nOileán’ onto the ‘Thor Gitta’ freight carrier was halted for a third time last Friday. [15/4]

The third attempt to lift the ferries was halted last Friday [15/4] due to a crane alarm going off while one ferry was being lifted.
