Eduflix just the business for Junior Cert students!

Business students in Ballinasloe are among the first in the country to avail of a new online revision tool for Junior Certs.

Eduflix, founded by Leona Moran, has developed a series of online learning revision packages consisting of bite-sized animated videos that now compile and deliver revision content, previously only available from traditional textbooks presented in a new and innovative, easy to consume digital format.

The resource appeals to students who are auditory learners – people who learn best by listening, and who understand and remember things they have heard – or visual learners, who prefer to view images, graphics, colours, and maps in order to properly process the information.

Business Studies students in Ardscoil Mhuire in Ballinasloe have been using the facility.

Áine Hackett, a teacher at Ardscoil Mhuire, said: “Eduflix is a fantastic resource for junior cycle business students. The content and delivery are top class.

“Students find it very easy to use and love the visuals in the videos. Eduflix is a great revision tool to help students prepare for their exam.”

Ms Moran founder of Eduflix said: “My experience using Eduflix’s resources in a classroom setting has been overwhelmingly positive. I believe that the motivation it provides students will enable them to really raise the bar of their expectations and thus improves their own vision of their ability.”
