EAMONN KITT NEW TUAM MAYOR

Fianna Fail Councillor, Eamonn Kitt, is the new Mayor of Tuam.

He was proposed by his fellow party member, Councillor Tom Reilly and seconded by Councillor Sally Ann Flanagan, a member of Fine Gael.

On proposing Eamonn Kitt, Councillor Reilly remarked that the Kitt name was synonymous with politics and that the family had provided 64 years of unbroken service to the people of East Galway, which started when Eamonn’s father was elected as a T.D. in 1948.
