DUNMORE AIRSTRIP REFUSAL APPEALED

The decision to refuse planning permission for an airstrip on an agricultural field in Dunmore is being resisted.

John Reddington is appealing county planners’ decision to refuse the airstrip on agricultural land in the townland of Carrowntryla, almost three kilometres south of Dunmore town.

An Bord Pleanála is expected to make its decision in the early summer.
