Druid theatre to be renamed Mick Lally theatre

Galway bay fm newsroom -Druid theatre is to be re-named the Mick Lally Theatre

The announcement is being made at a breakfast briefing in Dublin this morning

Mick Lally, one of the country’s best known actors, was a founding member of the Galway theatre company

He passed away a few years ago, and was still taking on acting roles until shortly before his death
