Druid and NUIG launch training academy partnership
Galway Bay fm newsroom- A new drama training academy has been launched as part of a 10 year partnership between Druid Theatre Company and NUI Galway.
The Druid Academy includes a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in drama, theatre studies and performing arts.
Druid Artistic Director Garry Hynes will take up the role of Adjunct Professor at NUIG providing workshops and master classes.
Speaking to Galway Bay fm news, she says it’s a key relationship which will see the development of theatre in Galway.
