DRUGS WORTH AN ESTIMATED ONE MILLION EURO SEIZED IN TYNAGH

Drugs with an estimated value of just over one 1million euro have been seized in the Loughrea area.

As part of an ongoing operation in the Galway area, Gardaí and Customs today (Fri 12th June) carried out a search of a house at Limehill in Tynagh at approximately 2pm.

As a result of this search, an estimated 1.1million euro of controlled cannabis resin and herb was seized.

Two men were arrested, and are currently detained in at Mill Street Garda station in the city under Section 2 of the Misuse of Drugs Act.
