DROP IN LOUGHREA CRIME FIGURES

There’s been a decrease in crime figures in the Loughrea area over the past three months.

That’s according to figures provided at a meeting of the Joint Policing Committee which show a notable drop when compared to the same period last year.

Reports of criminal damage, fraud and burgleries were lower than last year, however 6 drink driving arrests were made compared to 8 previously.
