DOG THROWN OVER CITY BRIDGE RESCUED

An appeal is being made for witnesses to a serious incident that took place in the city this afternoon.

A live dog was thrown over O Brien’s Bridge between 12 and 1 o clock this afternoon.

The dog was rescued and is now in the care of the Galway Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
