The developer behind a major new estate planned for Castlegar has been told he can’t make it bigger.

Joseph Joyce of Cahermorris Developments in Corrandulla has the go ahead to build 57 houses and apartments.

He applied to the city council for permission to build an extra 27 residential units but city planners have refused the plans
