DERRYBRIEN GROUP WELCOMES EUROPEAN COURT RULING ON LANDSLIDE

Today’s European Court of Justice ruling against Ireland over the Derrybrien wind farm project where a landslide occurred five years ago, establishes the truth of what happened.

That’s according to the Derrybrien Development Society Ltd, the group which had campaigned against the wind farm from the start.

Today’s European Court of Justice ruling points the finger firmly at the Irish Government, saying it failed in its environmental obligations.
