Derelict Ballybane site described as health hazard

Galway Bay fm newsroom – The City Council is being urged to take urgent action regarding a derelict site in Ballybane.

Councillor Declan McDonnell says residents at High Road are alarmed at the delay in having the site cleaned up and illegal trading stopped.

The Independent Councillor says a bench warrant for the owner of the site was issued in the courts but no effort has been made to clean up the area.

Councillor McDonnell says it’s a health hazard.
