Deputy Brian Walsh considers rejoining Fine Gael parliamentary party

According to today’s Irish Times, Deputy Walsh is expected to reapply for membership in the coming months.

Brian Walsh was expelled from the Fine Gael parliamentary party last year for voting against the Government during the ‘Protection of Life During Pregnancy Bill.’

It’s understood that he could apply to rejoin during the Summer recess and has received indications that his application will be viewed favourably.

He was seen at an event with Taoiseach Enda Kenny before Christmas.
