DECLAN GANLEY LOSES THREE THOUSAND VOTES IN RE CHECK

Abbeyknockmoy resident businessman and Libertas founder Declan Ganley has lost 3 thousand votes in the recheck of the North West euro constituency votes.

The votes should have gone to Independent candidate Fiachra O’Luain.

Returning officer Kieran McDermott has just announced the results of recheck of the half a million votes within the past few minutes, reducing Libertas leader Declan Ganleys’ vote to 67, 638.

Marian Harkin, Pat the Cope Gallagher and Jim Higgins look set to take the three seats late tonight.
