DEAL SECURES JOBS OF GALWAY ADAMS STAFF

The future of 11 jobs at childrenswear store, Adams in the city, seems secure after a rescue deal.

The business has been sold to former owner, Northern Ireland businessman, John Shannon, preserving 1900 jobs.

Adams had previously been bought out of administration by Mr. Shannon in 2007.

This latest deal will mean 120 British and Irish stores, including the one at Galway Shopping Centre will remain open.
