The daughter of a renowned novelist from the Arann Islands is coming to Galway to open a 10 million euro housing development named in her father’s honour.

Galway city council’s most recent housing development, ‘Na Blátha Craige’, is named after a poem by author and short story writer Liam O’ Flaithearta from Inis Mór.

Liam O’Flaithearta’s daughter Pegeen O’Sullivan will join Mayor of Galway Tom Costello to officially open the Na Blatha Craige Housing Development and Community Centre on the Clybaun Road at 3pm this Friday.
