DATE SET FOR ORANMORE EXPLOSIVES TRIAL

An Oranmore man charged with having explosives and a detonator at Oranmore in 2008 will stand trial at Galway Circuit Criminal Court next month.

Oliver Mannion (31) of Rinville West, Oranmore, is currently in custody in connection with the charge.

His co-accused, Gareth Charters (26) of 26 Rock Valley, Dromahair, County Leitrim, has already pleaded guilty to the same charge.

Both men will now be dealt with at Galway Circuit Criminal court on Thursday March 11th at 10.30a.m.
