Dana’s brother cleared of two charges of sexual abuse, jury still out on three other charges

Galway Bay fm newsroom – John Brown – the brother of Claregalway resident and Eurovision winner Dana – has been cleared of two charges of historic sexual abuse.
The 60-year-old was accused of five counts of indecent assault against two underage girls in the 1970s.
The jury of six men and six women are still deliberating on the remaining three counts – which relate to the second of the two girls.
Chris Hewett from National News says the final verdict may be delivered this afternoon.
