CUTS TO AFFECT BROTHERS OF CHARITY GALWAY SERVICES

The Brothers of Charity services in Galway is facing further cuts of up to 2 million euro in its budget this year which will impact further on already stretched resources.

The organisation, which offers a service to over 1 thousand children and adults with intellectual disabilities, already had 4 point 9 million euro cut from its budget over the past two years.

Eamon Walsh, who is a board member of the Brothers of Charity, says further cuts will have a serious impact on front line services.
