CUSTOMS OFFICIALS SEARCH CITY AND GORT FILLING STATIONS

Searches are being carried out at two filling stations in the Galway area today.

The operation is being led by Customs and Excise officials.

Officials are examining a station in the Gort area and another on the outskirts of the city.
