CUSTODY REMAND FOR TWO MEN CHARGED IN CONNECTION WITH ORANMORE BURGLARIES

Two men have been remanded in custody in connection with a number of burglaries from homes in the Oranmore area.

Thomas Laffey of 129 Castlepark, Ballybane has been charged with burglary and the unauthorised use of a vehicle.

Co-accused Thomas Folan of 42 Saint James’ Crescent, Mervue was also charged with unauthorised use of a vehicle as well as criminal damage.

A third man is still being questioned at Millstreet Garda Station this evening.
