Date Published: 06-Apr-2011

Club Árus na Gael plays host to one of the most exciting Latin-music DJs currently on the circuit this Friday when DJ Florian Bravo returns to Galway.

The Cuban DJ thrilled crowds in Cross Street when he played here last summer during the inaugural Latin Quarter Festival and a full house is anticipated as he makes his return at Árus na Gael this weekend.

Bravo boasts a residency at Club Floridita in London and has also played at the city’s exclusive Café de Paris. His fusion of Reggaeton hip-hop and salsa beats is also proving to be a hit on these shores amongst an ever-growing fan base of Latin music.

Club Oa2 at Árus na Gael on Dominick Street in the city is advising that clubbers should get in early due to massive demand, and it’s free entry before 10.30pm.

DJ Florian Bravo will be supported by DJ Will Softly, who has performed at Electric Picnic and supported national and international artists such as Alabama 3, Nitin Sawhney, Intinn and Mad Professor. He has also been a resident DJ at the Festival of World Cultures for the past five years, filling dance floors with his unique brand of dance and remixed afro-centric house tunes.

Club Árus na Gael is located at 45 Dominick Street. Cover charge for the gig featuring DJ Florian Bravo and DJ Will Softly hosted by Club Oa2 is €4 but admission is free before 10.30pm.
