CRUCIAL VOLVO FINANCIAL MEETING POSTPONED AGAIN

Today’s meeting to discuss the financial difficulties of the Volvo Ocean Race finale has been postponed until next Monday [October 15].

It’s the second time the meeting has been postponed as it was due to take place last Tuesday

A spokesperson for Lets Do It Global says today’s city council meeting was one of the main reasons for cancelling the meeting.

Key stakeholders which include Failte Ireland, City and County Councils, have been invited to attend the gathering next Monday.

An estimated 400 thousand euro is owed to suppliers following the summer finale.
