CROí WELCOMES MAJOR HEART SURGERY IN THE WEST

Croí, the West of Ireland Cardiology Foundation is welcoming the news that major heart surgery is underway in Galway

Yesterday, the Health Service Executive West announced that 5 heart surgeries have been carried out at Univeristy College Hospital since June 11th

It will mean that heart patients in the West will no longer have to travel to Dublin or Cork for surgery

Croí has campaigned for heart surgery to come West for over 20 years and have contributed large funds towards setting up a service in Galway
