Crimestoppers renews appeal on fatal hit and run in Ardrahan

Crimestoppers has renewed its appeal for information in relation to a fatal hit and run in South Galway in November.

65-year-old Gerard Keane was struck by a car on the Galway side of the Ardrahan pedestrian crossing on the N18 on the 16th of November at around half past seven in the evening.

He died from his injuries in hospital the following day.

It’s understood a dark coloured Ford Focus hatchback was involved in the crash.
