CREGMORE NATIONAL SCHOOL ATTACKED BY VANDALS

Cregmore National School in Claregalway has been severely damaged in an attack by vandals.

Galway Gardai are investigating the break-in which happened in the early hours of Saturday morning.

The vandals used hurleys to smash through a newly installed double glazed front door at Cregmore national school.

Once inside the school building they continued to use significant force to smash through doors and windows to gain entry into individual classrooms.
