CREAGH SEWERAGE SCHEME TO BEGIN OPERATION

A long awaited sewerage scheme for Creagh is set to commence operation.

Pipe laying has now been completed and connection points have been left in place for each household.

The waste water treatment plant to facilitate the scheme will be fully commissioned from Monday (Jan 14th).

Independent TD Denis Naughten says the final part of the process marks the end of a nine year journey to secure the facility.

He says it’s a key piece of infrastructure for Ballinasloe which will work to benefit industrial investment.
