CRAUGHWELL BUSINESSMAN VOWS TO QUASH FRAUD RUMOURS

A Craughwell-based businessman, who went missing last May and reappeared in January, says he is "enthusiastic about setting the record straight."

The circumstances surrounding the disappearance of Mayo-native, Kevin McGeever from his mansion in Craughwell are still unclear.

Kevin McGeever was reported missing to Gort Gardai in May last year by his partner.

He was missing for 8 months before he was found on a roadside in Leitrim by a passerby in January.

It’s understood Mr. McGeever claims he was kidnapped by a gang, who threatened to kill him and wanted money.

According to today’s Irish Examiner, Kevin McGeever wants to quash fraud rumours and will set the record straight about the circumstances surrounding his alleged kidnapping.
