The Galway County & City Enterprise Board’s new spring schedule of training courses – designed and priced with the small to middle sized business in mind – is rolling out over the next few weeks.

Some of the courses planned are ‘Be Employee-Ready’ – or what you need to know when hiring new employees in terms of contracts of employment through to health and safety training.

They are also offering a full day Product Photography workshop for beginners and semi-advanced – perfect for designers and craftspeople, or for food and cosmetic producers. Guided by the professional photographer Julia Dunin you will find out how to create the same set-up and use the knowledge to take photographs on your own.

If you want to differentiate your business and increase your understanding of branding and write a brand design brief the Market Your Brand course will show you how to use public relations and how to put together a press release.

The courses are also relevant for someone who is thinking of starting a business and not sure of the next steps to take and also the single operator who is self-employed.

All training courses will be held at the Galway County & City Enterprise Boards training rooms in Woodquay, Galway.
