County planners grant extension for Kilconly plans

Galway Bay fm newsroom – Galway County Council has agreed to an extension of time to allow for the construction of a new public house in Kilconly.

Martin Blake has been granted permission for another five years to complete the development in the townland of Ballynagittagh.

The plan involves the demolition of an existing public house and out buildings to make way for the construction of a 2 storey block with public house and restaurant.

It also includes the construction of two new retail units, 3 apartments and 6 three bed town houses at the site in Kilconly village.
